人人人鼓剧场首部作品《独角戏》有赖观众的喜爱，去年2014年于吉隆坡表演艺术中心的专场演出5场满座。群众的热烈反应增加了我们对作品的信心，于是勇敢的开始申请参与一些国际艺术节。

今年一月，我们成功受到意大利艺术节的邀请函：威尼斯《户外舞台》艺术节 Venice Open Stage (从六月28日至7月10日)。

那是一件令人十分振奋的事情，我们终于可以带着我们的作品分享给欧洲的观众！

由于艺术节是民间组织，他们只能承担我们在当地的所有费用，我们则必须自己寻找来旅费。经过了几个月的奋斗，我们仍然无法确定能否参与艺术节，只因为我们还没有筹获机票的费用。

我们不放弃！因为我们相信群众的力量将会让这件事情一步步实现。

关于独角戏

《独角戏》是一部结合鼓乐，肢体与剧场元素的表演。

有人说，人人身上都是一个时代。 

我耸耸瘦瘦的肩胛，以沙哑的嗓门诉说着泛黄的记忆。 

独自上演的，不是一个传奇，只是一段被遗忘的故事。 

你听，时间正滴答地穿梭在生活的缝隙中。 

你我共通的回忆，就存在墙瓦间的作息之声。 

播放一出儿时的戏，一起重返记忆庄园，召唤出暗涌的抵御力量。

鼓剧场：“鼓”能击出原始的声音，我们如何能用它如此容易贴近人的特性去讲述一个故事呢？如此说来，剧场也许就是鼓应该存在的地方了。当鼓被置放在剧场里时，它也许能找到自己的另一种能力。我们于是把它称为‘鼓剧场’。人人人鼓剧场以“鼓”探讨剧场的可能性，同时以“剧场”重新定义“鼓”的艺术价值。

为什么值得支持？

一，本作品除了在首次演出座无虚席外，并于同年受邀参与印尼海岛艺术节，Kakiseni International Arts Festival 2014，深获好评。

二，《独角戏》也得到BOH金马伦艺术奖的肯定，获得四项提名，其中包括最佳灯光设计，最佳服装与造型设计，最佳整体组合表现，最佳音乐与音效设计。

三，最后，人人人鼓剧场获得评审团的青睐，荣获最佳音乐与音效设计以及最佳整体组合表现，两个奖项。

如何实现计划？

• 这一次筹募的经费，我们将带领约10人的团队，其中包括表演者，技术人员与行政人员参与威尼斯艺术节。
• 对于表演艺术团体而言10人的机票费用，约30千是巨款。
• 可是，我们拒绝向限制低头，秉持着人人人的理念：让作品更加贴近大众。我们相信，力量也将会源自群众。
• 实际上，只要有300个人愿意以每人RM100支持我们，这个目标并不遥远。

On behalf of Orang Orang Drum Theatre and the committee, we would like to seek a sponsorship opportunity in support of a Malaysia theatre performance, Hidup Ini Senget, Europe tour, presented by Orang Orang Drum Theatre.

Orang Orang Drum Theatre is a Malaysia’s drum theatre company founded by Boyz Chew Soon Heng and Zyee Leow Sze Yee along with leading member Damien Leow Hui Min. The company was formed in 2013 which explore and develop the possibilities between two arts disciplines: drum and theatre. Other than develop a new idea of performing art in Malaysia, we also bring our art’s works to different communities in Malaysia such as Pangkok Island, Rawang, university, etc. We would like to work closely with the society and discover arts from the place that we are living.

The team have participated various festival in Malaysia which includes Short and Sweet Festival 2013, Kakiseni International Arts Festival 2014, Pangkor Island Festival 2014 and international festival such as Taiwan Yunlin Arts Exchange program 2014, Indonesia Arts Island Festival 2014, Thailand Phuket String Puppet Festival 2014.

In 2015, the recent work “Hidup Ini Senget” (firstly presented at Kuala Lumpur Performing Art Center on August 2014 with five full houses) is invited to an international festival - Venice Open Stage in Italy from 28th June to 10th July.

This is a great chance to promote Malaysia contemporary performing arts to the international stage. Through this festival, we hope to share our work to various audiences and meanwhile enriching the experience of our team to makes more good quality Malaysia’s performing arts work.

Is it worth to support this production?

• “Hidup Ini Senget”  first showcase in klpac had FIVE FULL HOUSE, and straight after this amazing response from the audience, it had been invited to Indonesia Arts Island Festival 2014(Batu city, Kediri, Bali) and Kakiseni International Arts Festival 2014
• “Hidup Ini Senget” had been recognized by the 12th BOH Cameronian Arts Award with FOUR Nominees in Theatre category, The Best Lighting Design, The Best Costume, Styling and Make up, The Best Group Performance and The Best Music and Sound Design.
• Finally, Orang Orang Drum Theatre won the Best Group Performance and The Best Music and Sound Design.

How to achieve the goal?

• The funding will allow us to bring about 10 members to participate the festival Venice Open Stage which includes performers, stage crew and admin personal.
• To get 10 return air flight tickets which equivalent to thirty thousand, it is almost impossible for a performing art company.
• BUT, we refuse to give up within the limitation. Orang Orang Drum Theatre aim to create and bring arts work which is closer to the public, so we believe that the power will directly come from the public.
• In fact, we need only 300 supporters, each with RM100 contribution. The goal is not far away.

About Venice Open Stage

Objectives

The Festival aims to value the experiences of cultural production, which come mainly from universities, using the city of Venice as the location of an annual event that will support its vocation of international stage; an event that makes the city not only a famous runway, but, on the contrary, the protagonist of the cultural production coming mainly from the university milieu. Such result can be achieved through a close collaboration between the City and the University. It will be a showcase of university theater, where the best Italian and European companies have the opportunity to perform and compare, in the name of an ongoing artistic research that gives lifeblood to the theater; a tool that can convey quality shows in the name of research and innovation.

History
For over ten years, in the month of June, the Theatre Final Laboratory, held by Prof. Gigi Dall’Aglio at the Faculty of Design and Arts of IUAV, mounts in Campo San Sebastiano the shows which are the result of the students’ work. Real shows in fact, not simple essays. In fact, the displays are the result of a collective work, where students confront themselves with the adaptation of texts, the scenic design and the direction of professional actors. All this under the expert guidance of a director of international experience. From year to year the Venetian public has showed a constant growing interest in the works presented and the very high attendance has induced students to set up sometimes real open air theaters capable of holding more than two hundred spectators. Very often, then, the laboratory experience has contributed to the emergence of university companies that have distinguished themselves in the Venetians university theater spaces presenting shows of fine workmanship. The professionalism and commitment with which the Venetian university students stage their shows, and the positive results achieved by the theatre laboratory of Prof. Dall’Aglio, both in terms of quality and of public acceptance, are the main promoters of this Festival.
